I’m so excited you’re here! I secretly love throwing a good party, I don’t actually want to attend the party but I’m happy to pull together all the creative details. This isn’t the first business I’ve started and it probably won’t be the last - I’m always up for a challenge and the possibility of creating something all your own. It’s nice to “meet” you. To me, Dot & Daisy is a place where creativity is abundant. As an avid crafter I wanted to create something that brings joy to people, because even in darker moments I’ve always found joy in creating, sharing, and learning new things. I worked for a number of small, women-owned businesses throughout college; while also teaching music, theater, and art classes for kids at a local music school. At the age of 24 I found myself wanting to start something that would give me the opportunity to choose my own path, and frankly work somewhere I love. Dot & Daisy is that place!

Hello! My name is Long John, it’s nice to meet you! I’m a 16 yr old Maltese/Chihuahua rescue from Midwest Animal Rescue & Services who recently passed away. My favorite activities included keeping an eye on all business-related affairs, carefully monitoring the comings and goings of the team, along with sleeping & going on walks with my best friend (or nemesis depending on the day), Ozzie.

I’m the newest member of the team and to be honest I’m not exactly sure what is going on at any given time, but I’m sure excited about it! Work is not my strong suit, but I do love a good snuggle, a long walk and thoroughly sniffing any human who I run into.

I’m here for whatever the D&D team needs outside of making balloons. Tying fringe? You got it! Painting backdrops? My specialty! My hobbies include: watching PBS on my ipad (I love a good murder-mystery show), training to become a triathlete (not really, but I do walk, bike & swim every day), watercolor & reading a good book.
